Susan Susong Obituary
Sue was an outgoing soul who never met a stranger. She loved shopping, garage sales, playing euchre, and embroidery/needlepoint. Back in the day, she liked being part of TOPS and the Van Galder bus tours. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her grandchildren and family, and loved celebrating holidays together.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; children, Clayton Brewer and Brenda Brewer, Joyce (Jeff) Freres, Jim (Andrea) Susong and Jeff (Sherry) Susong; grandchildren, Julie (Joe) Leonard, Johnathan Freres, and Liam Susong; siblings, Sandy (Bob) Newman and Jim (Mattie) Watson; sister-in-law Charlotte Watson; 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents George and Florence; brother Jerry Watson; and her sister Kathy Watson.
A memorial service will be held June 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM at APFEL WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, 21 S. Austin Rd, Janesville. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin and Mayo Clinic. APFEL WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, Janesville is assisting the family. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at SSM St. Mary's Hospital and SSM Health at Home Hospice for their help and care during this time of need.
