Brad Pelletier Obituary

PELLETIER, Bradley John December 17, 1957 - January 5, 2014 It is with deep sorrow that our family announces the passing of Bradley John Pelletier. After several months at Victoria General Hospital, fighting many complications following surgery, he succumbed at the young age of 56 surrounded by family and friends. Brad was born and grew up in Campbell River and lived there for the better part of his life. He had a big heart and could often be found lending a hand to a friend. Brad was an avid outdoorsman and a great fisherman. He also had a passion for cooking, creating recipes, and concocting his own smoked spices. He was a creative soul and enjoyed many hobbies that enabled him to work with his hands. His sense of humor was endless. His work life encompassed many spheres and took him to Vancouver, Edmonton, Saskatchewan, and the North. His most loved work was mixing metal alloys for Alcan, log salvaging on the Fraser River, as well as working on the tugs. His later years in Campbell River were spent truck driving, road building, and working as a maintenance and handyman. Predeceased by his parents Leo & Madeline (McNeil) Pelletier, uncle Ernie Pelletier and brother in law Brad Carter. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynda Carroll-Roberts, two children, Glenn Cooke-Pelletier (Krista), and Falyn Smith/Cooke-Pelletier (Ryan), and step-son, Ryan Roberts, (Moa), grandchildren, Nevaeh, Ollie, and Ryder, siblings, Lynda Carter, Ross Pelletier (Barbara), Maureen Pelletier (John), and Danny Pelletier (Joanne), and nieces and nephews, Kelly, Lane, Angelle, Ira, Arlen, Sarah, Jacqueline, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Coachman Carriage Room on February 08, 2014 at 1:00 pm.. Please bring a favorite story or memory. In lieu of flowers, donations and blood can be donated to the Red Cross.

The Guest Book will soon be closed for Brad, but it is OK as long as we realize that our past continues to affect who we are. We can only grow as people when we choose to confront our past. Only then can we move forward in our lives. Brad, you will always be in our hearts forever.
With love,
Bill and Sandy
