Claudia L. Moore
June 19, 1938 - July 28, 2018
Claudia passed away peacefully and met Jesus at Mesa Manor on July 28. She was 80 years old.
She was born on Father's Day, June 19, 1938, to R. Harold and Frances L. Davis in Pueblo, CO. There, Claudia spent her childhood and graduated from Centennial High School in 1956. She then married Kenneth F. Moore and they moved to Grand Junction in August, 1956. She was preceded in death by Ken in 1995.
Claudia was an active member of the First Baptist Church, served as a Deaconess and was active in ABW ministries. She sold Avon for many years.
Claudia loved all her family and is survived by her brother, Gilbert Davis of Ramona, CA, and her children, Kerry L. Hill of Centennial, CO; Kelly D. Vogel of Grand Junction, CO; Chris K. Moore of Durango, CO, and Katherine A. Wagner of Willowbrook, IL, as well as 11 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for September 22, 2018, 2:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Grand Junction.
Her family has formed a team to participate in the "End Alzheimer's Walk" on that date. Anyone is invited to join "Moore Memories" team at the walk at 9:30 a.m., in memory of Claudia. Please contact the Alzheimer's Association at 2232 N. 7th #B1, Grand Junction, CO to join in or to donate.
