Doug, everyday you are in my thoughts, my prayers and in my heart. I love you now and always and have missed you for a long time. There will never be another like you. Maybe if things were different you might still be here. I will see you again and send my love to my dad.

I knew Doug from playing football at Mesa College/Mesa State. Doug was always full of fire back then, and had the rare trait of continuing that throughout his life. I also worked with him on the football alumni foundation, whose mission was to add enough scholarships to match the RMAC teams. Doug was passionate about raising funds for that cause. This was after a successful manager career at UPS, and a encore career at Strive. You can sincerely call Doug "Mr. Maverick", most people just watch a parade however, Doug would lead the homecoming parade, because he got so excited on game day.
We should all live our life like Doug, to the max. I am so honored to have known him and meet him at the Blue Moon with his wonderful wife Sharon, and laugh about the past.
You inspire me my friend. I will level up and live more like you. Rest in Peace brother.

I didn't know Doug very well, we had attended several training classes together recently. He was full of energy, brought a lot of insight to the group and very well liked by all of us. I know he will be missed by all. My sincere condolences to his friends, family and the individuals he served. Fly high Doug
