Duane Kenneth Gillilan

February 21, 1943 - November 27, 2021

Duane Kenneth Gillilan, 78, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 27, 2021.

Duane was born February 21, 1943, in Denver, CO. He graduated from Brighton High in 1961. He then enlisted in the Navy and served four years. After his enlistment he moved to Grand Junction, CO and was working at B&B Electric. He met the love of his life, Connie Pedersen, at Faith Baptist Church. They were married June 1, 1968. They had four children Dennis, Gregory, Matthew, and Daniel.

Duane worked as an electrician for B&B Electric until he retired. He was an active member of Pear Park Baptist Church and loved the Lord. Duane was an avid hunter and loved his hobbies of black powder and taxidermy.

Duane is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Priscilla Gillilan; wife, Connie (Pedersen) Gillilan, and son, Dennis Gillilan.

He is survived by sons, Gregory (Kendra), Matthew (Sara), and Daniel (Michelle); grandchildren, Tyler Gillilan, Lane Gillilan, Cole Gillilan, Trenton Gillilan, Seth Gillilan, Hannah Gillilan, Hunter Gillilan, Adam Gillilan, Tucker Gillilan and Paisley Gillilan; sister, Gloria Beasley, and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
