The summer before I went to college at Mesa I worked for Mr. Flynn at the DQ on North Ave. He was so patient as I learned how to make the top of the ice cream- which they don´t do anymore especially on dilly bars. One fall night a blue eyed tall Mesa football player came to my window snd pleaded with me to sale him a baby cone as he only had a nickel. I finally gave in. Several weeks later this kid yelled at me asking for date on campus. I was late for class and as I was running yelled back ok. We were married 35 years until his death. All because Mr. Flynn hired me! PS I also babysat you kids for a weekend way back then. He was wonderful. Love to you all.

I had many classes with Jim in high school. He was always engaging out side of school as well. Job well done.
