She finished the race well, faithful to the end. I try to imagine the celebration in heaven and reunion with loved ones. She has been a faithful supporter of me in overseas ministry for several years. I pray God's comfort for all who knew and miss this dear saint.

Jean Marie is resting in the arms of her Lord. She was a blessing to all who meet her. Her musical talent brought joy to all. She willingly accompanied me in my singing endeavors. Her life exemplied Christian love. You will be missed Jean Marie

Jean Marie and I were second cousins and classmates all through school. My Mom (Wilna Grimm Mattison) and Jean's Dad were cousins and classmates in their generation. I have such fond memories of school, church, and family with the Oberly's grandkids. Love to Carol and all the family.
Jean is seated at the top here. 4 Oberly cousins c. 1948

Jean Marie was my first cousin. We played together when my family was visiting our grandparents in Clifton. I also spent time with her at Camp Christian. She was a big influence on many of us. May it give her many friends peace to know she lived the life she wanted.

A lifetime of shared experiences and interests, of friendship and Christian fellowship will now have to be continued in eternity. Jean will surely be missed by many. Her dedication to serving God in all aspects of her life and especially in support of missionaries and of missions and in short term missions have always impressed me. I've missed so much fellowship with her by living on another continent but will "catch up" in heaven. God bless and comfort all who were close to her.

So sorry to hear of Jean Marie's passing. She will be missed. We always enjoyed seeing her at Miller family gatherings and at church playing the organ or piano. She is rejoicing with Jesus now.

Jean's life was one well lived and spent. Her love of God and Jesus Christ were central to all that she did. I have known and loved her for 43 years as "My Aunt Jean." She was not biologically my Aunt, but she was such a huge part of my entire life experience that she was ALWAYS family.
Her Greatness in doing the Lord's work was only equaled by her humility. She never sought praise or acknowledgment for what she accomplished, but she did everything whole heatedly, to BEST of her ability, and for the Glory of God. She is and will be Greatly missed until we see her again in Heaven! Matthew 25:21, "Well done, Good and Faithful Servant..."
