Lawrence Lindbloom Obituary

Lawrence (Larry) Lindbloom February 14, 1949 - October 25, 2005 Surrounded by his loved ones, Larry peacefully passed away due to complications from Diabetes; completing his journey on this earth and returning to Our Lord. He was 56 years old. He was born February 14, 1949 in Jamestown, New York, the son of Otto and Etta Alberta Brawdy Lindbloom. A "jack-of-all-trades", he had a gift of dealing with people and spent the better part of his life in restaurant management. Later, he realized his true purpose was to guide and care for the residents of the Grand Junction Regional Center. He was blessed with many joys in his life: hunting fishing and his pets. His greatest joy came from his family: his soul mate and loving wife of 35 years, Patricia Lindbloom, his two sons Andrew and Scott (Shanna) Lindbloom, and his daughter Rachel Lindbloom (Paul) Campbell. His life was further enriched by his six grandchildren: Dawn and Dion Lindbloom, Nickolas Lindbloom, Gavin and Malik Campbell and Tayton Lindbloom. The family, with Father Steve, would like to invite friends to join them and share their memories of Larry, on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m., at Callahan-Edfast Chapel. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Mary's Dialysis Unit at P.O. Box 1628, Grand Junction, Colorado 81502. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 29, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary Chapel.

My dad was the greatest man ever. I loved him more then anything in the whole intire world. I know all of kids brought him happiness and sadness. Although We made him happy his grandsons Nick, Gavin, and Malik made him even happier then we ever did. We may miss him but we must know he still loves us and he is in a better place where he can act like a kid again. We had so much fun together during my 32 years with him.
