Pamela Jean White Seely passed away at her home July 24, 2007. Pamela was born September 27, 1971 to Tommy and Glenna White where she was raised on the family ranch along the Colorado river. She graduated from Grand County High School and attended Mesa State College. As a child she was her daddy's little girl and soon learned that he could never tell her no, so the other kids would always have her "ask" because then the answer would always be YES! Pamela learned to ride before she could walk and she loved her horses, cowboying and just being able to grow up on the ranch. Pamela enjoyed her time spent barrel racing. She made many life long friends there, including many people in the advertising business such as the Marlboro Cowboys. Pamela married Martin D. Seely on November 19, 1991 and they have two sons, Brennon Dean and Trenton Carl. She and her family helped Pamela's mother and stepfather Lanny Thomas work the Valley Livestock Auction. She loved spending time with her family and so enjoyed all their accomplishments such as Brennon's basketball and roping, and Trenton's baseball and basketball. She was always giving of her time at the schools, the rodeos or within the community. She always had a house full of her sons friends and loved every minute of it. Pamela also enjoyed helping John Raff in his garden. She is survived by her husband, sons and her daughter/dog Metoo, her mother Glenna Thomas, a brother Jerry (Heather) White and her sisters Cricket (Kent) Green and Colleen (Gregg) Tibbetts, a stepbrother Danny (Jeanine) Thomas and will be missed by her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Tommy White and stepfather Lanny Thomas.

She said it best when she wrote this poem to a dear friend, little did she know that it would someday “say it all” for her family too.....
YOUR NOT ALONE
A tear runs down my cheek. My heart is filled with sorrow. For I think of you and know you won't smile tomorrow. I wish for you I could change the hurt. And make it go away. I wish I could change what has happened and let him live to be with us another day. For you I feel compassion and my heart cries out with fear for this brings back old feelings from another year. I write these words of sympathy knowing what you have to endure and I've looked all around this world and I'm still unable to find a cure. I've cried those hollow tears of heartache and suffering, I've been through it all and it tears me up that now through your eyes I watch them fall. I wish I could give you some advice but everyone deals with it in there own way. I know for me it still seems like only yesterday. But someday when your ready you'll see what no one else can see through the good times and the memories it'll bring him back. And standing before you is where he'll be. When things of the present bring back the past. Don't hide it and cover it with tears. But enjoy it more than ever. Remember through out the years. He would want you to be happy so feel no pain, and shed no tears of sorrow don't dwell on the past, but look forward to tomorrow. by Pamela White, September 1990

“For a moment all the world was right. How could I have known that you'd ever say goodbye.
Pamela, you were a great mother to your two boys and all of their friends. You were a giver to those in need, helping the underdog, and sticking to your guns! We will miss your quick wit, and your intense love for Mom, Brennon, Trenton, and Martin. I know that you are on a horse chasing cows, and watching over your family. You were too young to die, but will live on through your boy’s. Love you the Tibbetts Tribe
