My heart sank when I heard about Roy’s passing. He fought a tough fight. Roy is my first cousin and I have very fond memories of him. I always thought he was so good looking & cool, he is 10 years older than me. And I was right! He lived a full and honorable life and will surely be missed by many. Know we are thinking of you during this sad time and will be there in spirit when you say your good bue’s. He had many loving family members in heaven to greet him. Hugs to all of you!

Roy was a wonderful, loving, and caring person. He always went to my parents house to have coffee and check on them. He looked at my parents as his own. Before the Covid Pandemic he would go get my dad and take him to lunch. He liked to talk about alot of things including his accomplishments in Architecture. He was proud of his kids and what they have become in life. He will be truly missed. I didn't get to see him much since I live in McKinney Texas.

Roy sent me a card when my brother passed away because he recognized the name from Saybrook. I always thought that was the kindest thing! The building he designed were amazing! I never realized Hope West was designed by him. It is such a peaceful and loving building! My thoughts are with you all.
