Steven Robinson Obituary

Steven Len Robinson April 11, 1971 - May 31, 2006 Steven Len Robinson of Craig, Colorado died on May 31, 2006 in Wyoming in the Red Desert, due to an oil rig related accident. He was 35. Steven was born on April 11, 1971 in Grand Junction, Colorado. Steve joined the Navy in 1989, and was stationed on the USS MCKEE AS-41 serving until 1993. He received the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Battle E Award, the Meritorious Unit Commendation Award, a National Defense Service Medal, South West Asia Service Medal and W/2 Bronze Stars. Just two weeks ago, Steven had the pleasure of walking his sister down the aisle at her wedding and was very happy to do so, you could see by the way Steven smiled with his eyes! He is survived by his daughter, Taylor Oxenrider of Craig, CO, his son, Mason Behymer, of Abingdon, IL, his mother, Lana Foxhoven of Craig, CO, his father, Julian Ubillos, of Pueblo, CO, sister; Laurie (Jason) Miles, Eckert, CO, brothers, Joey Nieto, Craig, CO, and Danny Ubillos of Ft. Collins, CO,. companion; Elizabeth Harding and daughter, Syndie of Wickenburg, AZ, two nieces; Isabella of Mesa, AZ and Daysha, of Montrose, CO, stepfather, John Kourlis of Craig, CO, a special cousin; Tammy (Chris) Piona, of Craig, CO and many close friends. He is preceded in death by his sister; Julie Ann Ubillos, niece; Kelsey Ubillos, maternal grandparents, Earl and Laura Foxhoven and stepfather, Joe Nieto. Friends may call at Grant Mortuary from 9:00 a.m. until noon on Thursday, June 8th in Craig, Colorado. A Celebration of Steven's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 9th at the Shadow Mountain Clubhouse, in Craig, Colorado, a covered dish is welcomed. Interment of Cremains will be in the Orchard Mesa Cemetery in Grand Junction, Colorado at 1:00 p.m. Saturday. Memorial Donations may be made to a fund for Steven's two children in care of Wells Fargo Bank of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
