Dennis J. Pongracz

Mr. Pongracz 71 passed away Wednesday May 25, 2022, peacefully with his family at his side. He was born in Detroit on December 3, 1950, to the late Charles & May (Smith) Pongracz. Dennis was retired Great Lakes National Steel then moving to Beaverton. He was a member Our Lady of Grace Parish, Sanford, Gladwin Knights of Columbus, served in the Gladwin County Sheriff Department Reserves and was proud that he drove the Zamboni for the City Ecorse ice arena. He enjoyed playing hockey, watching sports, being outside spending time in the sunshine and his greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his daughters Kelly & Paul Anderson, Cassandra (Jordan French) Pongracz, Mary & Jeremy Snyder and Donna & Chris Couturier and their mother Jackie (Evans) Pongracz; grandchildren Ethan, Matthew, Hayden, Caden, Sophia, Lily, Alyvia, Zoey, Logan, Keegan, Jaqueline and Harper; his siblings; Francis Pongracz, Elizabeth Engle, Mike Pongracz, Tom Pongracz, Cathy Pongracz, Danny Pongracz, Vickie Pongracz and Rochelle Twigg.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Charles, Margaret, Edward, Susan, Carol, Denise and Barbara.

Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday June 1,2022 at 11 am from Our Lady of Grace Parish-Sanford with Rev. Fr. Dan Fox presiding. Family will greet family and friends at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel on Tuesday from 2 to 8 pm and on Wednesday from 10 am until Mass at the church. Dennis J. Pongracz Pongracz
