Louise Ann Rebandt

1937 - 2016

Her legacy… Louise Ann Rebandt, age 79, of Dexter passed away Aug. 28, 2016. She was born on May 7, 1937, in Ecorse, Michigan to Ercle and Esther (Mayrand) Bloomfield. Louise married the love of her life Robert Gerald Rebandt on March 2, 1957 at St. Patrick Church in Monroe, Michigan. Louise served as a secretary for Mid-Michigan Medical Center and also served as a Hospice volunteer for 10 years in Gladwin, MI. She enjoyed square dancing and was a member of 4-H and the National Campers and Hikers Association. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her family… Louise is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Robert Gerald Rebandt, her children: Ann Marie Moisant of Tracy, California; Robert (Anne) Rebandt II of Dexter, Michigan, and Dorothy (Glen) Marshall of Farwell, Michigan; siblings: Patricia (Clarence) Meyer of Carelton, Michigan; Michael J. (Carol) Bloomfield of Westland, Michigan; Mary Ida Bloomfield of Houghton Lake, Michigan; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews who are very dear to her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ercle and Esther (Mayrand) Bloomfield and her brother, Robert Bloomfield.
Her farewell… Louise's family and friends will gather Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Country Church, 6805 Mast Rd, Dexter, Michigan 48130. A scripture service will conclude the visitation at 7:30 p.m. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016 at 10 a.m. (9 a.m. gathering).
