Donna Hekler

Donna Hekler was called home by the Lord on January 7th. Donna was a devoted wife, mother, friend and personified grace, humility and thoughtfulness. Donna was a wonderful example of a life lived well and will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Donna will always be remembered for her amazing ability to live each day to its fullest. Throughout the years she volunteered in community efforts, such as: Girl Scouts, Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, Glendale Healthy Kids and The Campbell Center. She was an active member in Daughters of the American Revolution, P.E.O. and Republican Women. She also gave generously financially to many charities. Donna enjoyed a highly successful career as a Realtor with Stevenson Dilbeck for over 30 years.Even at 88 years, she was an active volunteer, had an adventurous spirit, loved to learn, travel and going to movies and plays with her friends. Socializing with friends at the Oakmont Country Club, book clubs, art and music appreciation classes were also favorite activities. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Kahman, Kimberly Sambito (William), Karla Dunavant (Michael), 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.At her request, a private memorial service will be held in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
