I met Lillian through the "We Care" group in 1988. "We Care" was for divorced or widowed people and provided weekly meetings where all could share their feelings, experiences, etc. There were many social functions such as: dinners, plays, parties that all could attend. Lillian sponsored many parties in her lovely home in Glendale. I remember a Halloween Party where a large bearded man came dressed as a woman. I came dressed as a lady of the evening. Little did I know than that the bearded lady would become my future husband. Thanks to Lillian many others found happiness during a very difficult time in their lives. The world has lost a truly GREAT lady. My deepest sympathy to her family.
