Debra J. Feeney

1955 - 2025

Obituary text: Debra J. Feeney, beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt and cherished friend, passed away on April 5, 2025 at the age of 69 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on October 28, 1955 in Attleboro, MA, Deb was known for her smile, love of life and her ability to make a friend anywhere she went.

In her younger years, she lived in Falmouth, MA and worked in the restaurant business where her customers came back week after week looking for her. She met the love of her life, Robert Feeney, and they moved to the beautiful New York Adirondacks and were married in 1994. Deb loved to play golf with her friends. While living in New York, she tended bar at several golf courses getting to know most of the golfers in the Glens Falls area.

Deb also liked to ski. She and her husband built their home on West Mountain, which allowed her to ski right out her front door. Later on Deb became an avid cross country skier. She volunteered for Big Brothers Big Sisters and she loved to visit the residents at nearby nursing homes.

After retiring, Deb and her husband moved to Southwest Florida in Rotonda West to be near the Gulf Coast beaches - as Debra would say, she made it to paradise and just wished her time there was longer. In addition to her husband, Robert Feeney, she leaves behind her mother, Joan A. Moniz of East Falmouth, MA, her siblings, Calvin Perry and partner, Carol Jacobs of Onset, MA, James Perry of Provincetown, MA, Joanie Jacobs and husband, Jeffrey of East Otisfield, ME, Michelle Deutschmann of Falmouth, MA, Michael Perry and wife Christine Beliveau of San Francisco, CA and Edward Moniz of East Falmouth.

She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Debra was predeceased by her father Edward Moniz. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
