Thomas Loding Obituary
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Tom passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, April 8th.
A lifelong resident and staple of Hudson Falls and Glens Falls communities, Tom touched countless lives. Many knew him from his recent years at Mohan's, where he memorably greeted everyone by name and knew exactly what they wanted – and where to find it!
Decades earlier, Tom snapped the football as #55 for over 20 years with the Hudson Falls and Glens Falls Green Jackets, earning him a well-deserved spot in the Hall of Fame. His sense of humor matched his love for life – comedies and stand-up specials were his favorite escapes, especially Tim Allen's "Last Man Standing." As a member of the Hoffman fish and game club for 25 years Tom enjoyed camp life and making lasting memories with life long friends.
Predeceased by his loving wife Linda, sister Joan, brother Paul, and beloved grandson Braeden.
Survived by:
• His son Tom jr and wife Tracy
• Son John and wife Leidy
• Youngest son Jason
• Grandson Jacob
• Many cherished nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law
• Two spoiled cats, Bilbo and Carlton who never went without treats.
Per Tom's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral. Instead, a **Celebration of Life** will be held: Sunday, May 25th, 5-7 p.m. at Jack's Bistro on Route 9.

I met Tom through the Greenjackets and will always remember him, missing his front cap, with a wet towel wrapped around his head to help with the heat of the game. Always full of laughter, no matter what hardships he was facing, he made the best of it. He will be so missed!

I will miss tom singing my name. Tom made me laugh so many times. I can still see his face when I dyed my hair lol. You will be missed.
