Adam Peterson Obituary
March 18, 1966 - September 19, 2024
Adam Wade Peterson, 58, of Mason City died unexpectedly of natural causes on September 19th at his residence. Adam was born March 18th, 1966 in Mason City to Sherryl and Harold Pippert. He was later adopted by William (Bill) R. Peterson. He graduated from MCHS in 1984. He worked at many jobs having the knack for fixing anything broken and getting it to work again.
Adam was a true New Orleans Saints fan, enjoyed camping and fishing, and playing foosball with friends. Adam had a kind heart helping friends and neighbors with needs and caring for his mom until her death. He is survived by his daughter Samantha (Dilan) Westphal of Janesville, MN, and granddaughters MaKenzie, Makaela, and Avery, brother Kyle (Amy) Peterson of Mankato, MN, father Bill Peterson of Henderson, NV, and his companion Carole Query of Mason City, and Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother Sherryl Pippert, brother Todd Alan Pippert, grandparents Carl and Arlene Aspland and Helen, Illa and Russell Peterson, and his dog Nikki.
The family will hold a private ceremony at a later date. A celebration of life will be held on October 13th from one to three PM at Laredo's 18 South Federal Ave in Mason City.

Oh My Goodness, Adam, Dear Family, His Mom Sherry was my best friend, and she spoke of Adam and Todd so much, she adored both of them. I am sorry I didn't know of Todd's passing or you would have heard from me. Sherry so proud of Adam, and so grateful to have both of her sons. And Samantha, she and he LOVED you so much. I remember when Sherry so looked forward to her trips to visit you and what a wonderful great grandma she would have been. She loved you and was so very proud of all of you. And Bill, well her and Adam and Todd's life's would have been so much harder if not for you. I know Sherry is welcoming Adam into her arms with joy to have both of her son's back in her arms, but also knowing her, she would be sad for those mourning the loss of Adam.
