Beverly Janice Peters

September 27, 1927 - October 6, 2025

Beverly was born in Ventura, Iowa September 27, 1927, to Sherman and Ferne Moore. She passed through the veil October 6, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. She spent her childhood In Ventura Heights on Clear Lake, lived in Clear Lake after she was married, moved to Mason City until finally moving to their home in Clear Lake – then retiring in Tucson Arizona.

She graduated from Ventura High School in 1945 and worked at various banks in the area. She also worked several years at Larson's China and Gift and as a bookkeeper at Midwest Wholesale until she retired. She met Carl Peters at the Bayside Roller Rink, and they married April 9, 1948. They enjoyed playing bridge and snowmobiling throughout their lives with friends. The family attended Saint James Lutheran Church in Mason City until they retired. One of their highlights was a trip to Germany where they visited the Peters and Oettchen families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Peters, her son, Ron Peters and daughter, Carol Peters (Kramer). She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Mike Hetherington) and son Doug and partner, Jill Evenson. Grandchildren Abby and Pete Hetherington, Kari, Kris and Korey Peters, Ben and Scott Peters, Cassie and Tanya Kramer and 6 great grandchildren, Delaney and Emelia Hetherington, Eric Neswold and Jocelyn Miller, Morgan Peters, and Forest Strait. Also, sisters Beth Strickler and Becky Moore.

She was laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City, Iowa. Any donations would be appreciated by Saint James Lutheran Church.

Bev was a beautiful lady, and I am proud to say she and her beautiful family stepped into my life and my path. Much love and sincere condolences on the passing of your loved one. She will be missed.
