Carl Jerald "Bones" Jaspers, Jr., was born January 18, 1930, at Sauk Center, Minn., to Carl Jerald Jaspers, Sr. and Hazel Susan Crippen. He died peacefully in the presence of his family in his farm home north of Kensett on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
Visitation is Friday, January 24, 2025, at Schroeder-Hoff Funeral Home in Northwood from 4 to 7 p.m.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Luella; and seven siblings. He leaves behind his children: Deb (Jon) Christenson, Doug (Pat) Jaspers, and Dee (Clif) Able; 12 grandchildren: Brad Hengesteg, Amber Hengesteg, Aaron Christenson, Amanda Wehrhan, Kara Renteria, Krystle Roth, Kory Jaspers, Josh Jaspers, Ashley Able, Andrew Able, Adam Able, and Alex Able; as well as 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of his life will be held at the Carpenter Bar and Grill in Carpenter, Iowa, on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees are welcome to purchase food and drinks if desired while we share memories of Bones' life.

Sending our Sincere Sympathy to the Bones Jaspers Family from the sunny warm South..We so enjoyed visiting with Bones ..especially the K
History from around the Lensett area..He shared his garden and we would compare results..Always tried to take him some rhubarb and a baked treat ..for that was one thing he liked but didn't have in his garden .He was a very interesting individual who will be missed by all..Dave and Annie Stevens

Bones was one of Kensett's great Basketball, Baseball player in Kensett's Histroy I admired the way he and Brother Fred played the game and I wanted to be the same. He always greated me when he saw me in any Kensett stores. RIP Bones.
