Cheryl Ann Wagner, 62, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.
Public visitation for Cheryl will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. There will be no funeral services held. Cheryl Ann Baker was born on July 15, 1956 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Dale and Lydia (Wagner) Baker Sr. She was raised and educated in the Marshall County School District. On July 14, 2001, Cheryl was united in marriage to David Zimmerman in Mason City, Iowa. Cheryl had a passion for crocheting, reading raunchy romance novels, back yard summertime parties, drinking beer, watching her favorite television soaps, being outdoors, watching wrestling with Dave and enjoying the feel of the ground beneath her feet.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, David Zimmerman; son, David Wagner; siblings: Lida Jackson, Harold Baker, Dale Baker Jr., Fran Enarson and Mary Pickett.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Lydia and Dale Baker Sr.; nephew, Jayson Gilbert and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
