Leland Chester Quisberg
May 29, 1935 - June 4, 2017
Leland Chester Quisberg, age 82, of Waterloo, formerly of Osage, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 in hospice care in Waterloo, after a short battle with cancer.
Leland was born May 29, 1935 to Chester and Nettie Quisberg in Belgrade, Minnesota. Lee married Janice Stirewalt in 1956.
Survivors include his wife, Jann, of Waterloo and his six children, Jeff (Larua) Quisberg of Phoenix, Arizona; Laurie (Stan) Evans of Dysart; Tammy (Bruce) Hungerford of Osage; Colleen (Bob) Hollatz of St. Ansgar; Brian (Kathy) Quisberg of Peoria, Arizona; Keith (Rochell) Quisberg of Las Vegas, Nevada; his grandchildren, Kym, Brandon, Brady, Jodi, Holli, Jon, Pam, Mike, Zack, Amanda, Hannah, Erica, Jarrod, David, Justin, Brittany, Dalia and Nasser and 19 great-grandchildren. His sisters, Editha Adrian, Lois Bowe; brother, Dwight (Maxine) Quisberg, and his sister-in-law, Jeanne (Gary) Frarck.
He was proceeded in death by his parents and a sister, Virginia Schmitt, brothers-in-law, Arnie, Fritz and Less and his daughter-in-law, Cendi Quisberg.
A Family Memorial Service will be held June 24, 2017, at the annual Quisberg Reunion with Pastor Denny Hanson officiating.
