Michael "Mike" Ray Baker, 73, died Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at the Mayo Clinic Hospital, Methodist Campus, Rochester, Minnesota.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday February 7, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 North Pennsylvania Ave., Mason City, with Rev. Dan Gerrietts officiating.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2023, at Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 310 1st Ave. North, Clear Lake. The family kindly requests attendees to wear a mask to help family and friends that are immunocompromised.
Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City or the Clear Lake Public Library in Mike's honor.

Mike was one of the first people that greeted me when I first started at Trinity. His outgoing and lighthearted personality will be missed greatly. He was always there with a smile and some laughter and I will really miss that.

Chuck and I have so many wonderful memories of our time with Mike and Mary. We are so sorry to learn of his passing. Wish we could be there for his Memorial Service, but please know we are sending our heartfelt love and prayers to Mike´s family. He was a wonderful man in every way.

He always had a smile, volunteered for many things at Trinity, was a true Christian, and he brought JOY to everyone. May God bless you all with many fond memories of Mike. Mike brought joy into every room he entered. His caring for other people was limitless, always bringing a casserole or bars to comfort someone in need. His wonderful sense of humor and wit will be missed. My prayers and thoughts are with his family.
