MASON CITY | Nicholas Q. Bobgan, 83, of Mason City died Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.
Per his request, no services are scheduled. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.

Nick was born Nov. 7, 1931, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Mike and Susan Bobgan. He married JoAnn Johnston Jan. 25, 1959, in Mason City. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1951-1953. Nick worked as a self-employed contractor in the Mason City area for many years. Just a few of his interests included hunting and fishing up in Northern Minnesota.
Nick is survived by his wife, JoAnn of Mason City; daughter, Jane (David) Demanett of Johnston; three granddaughters, Kristin Demanett of Chicago, Illinois, Ashley Parker of Des Moines and Brittany Parker of San Jose, California; sister, Agnes Ericson of Minneapolis; two brothers, Harold Bobgan of Minneapolis, and Dr. Martin (Deidre) Bobgan of Santa Barbara, California, and several nieces and nephews.
Nick was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Susan and brother, Howard.
