Paul Crockett
WAYZATA, Minn. - Paul B. Crockett, 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 24, surrounded by his family. Services were held Aug. 29.
Paul was born on Jan. 10, 1937, in Oskaloosa. He received a BS degree in Journalism from Iowa State University. Upon graduation, Paul came to Minneapolis and worked in sales for Webb Publishing. In later years, he managed his real estate investments. Paul served as President of the Board at the Southdale YMCA. He enjoyed the Antique Auto Club, hunting, and his family. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Frances Crockett of Britt.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia of nearly 56 years; daughters, Andrea (Tim) Sticha of Plymouth, Minnesota, and Allison (Mark) Schmitz of Simsbury, Connecticut; grandchildren, Matthew, Sean, Katherine and Will; sister, Nancy and brothers, Dave and Dan.
Memorials preferred to the Southdale YMCA and Boy Scouts of America.
