Robert Mills, 81, of Northwood, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024.
Funeral Services will be 10:00am Fri, Feb. 9. at First Lutheran Church, 309 9th St N, Northwood, IA. Interment will be at Sunset Rest Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4pm to 7pm Thurs, Feb. 8, 2024 at Conner Colonial Chapel, 1008 1st Ave. S, Northwood, IA, 50459. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

Bob (I always knew him as "Robert") attended the same country school (Wolf Creek No. 1) through the fifth grade. After it closed, he went on to the Correctionville school, and I to the Anthon school. But we continued to attend the Rock Branch Methodist Church services. We also played one-on-one
basketball many Sunday afternoons at the hoop in the Mills' yard. We also played basketball with Ben Flathers and Bob Bohle on cold, Sunday afternoons in the tiny gym attached to the Rock Branch Methodist Church. I'm glad to know that he went on to a fulfilling life after leaving the Rock Branch area.
I send condolences to all his loved ones. I'm sure he will be greatly missed.
