Ronald "Ron" Dale Zickefoose was born in Hampton, Iowa, on August 3, 1944, to Donna Belle (née Edgington) and James Willard Zickefoose. Ron passed away on February 11, 2025.

A visitation will be held for Ron on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church, 510 Thompson Street in Sheffield, Iowa. The family will host a luncheon following the service.

Ron always asked how our son, Kyle, was doing in the Marine Corps and then we'd talk about his son in the military Ron was very proud of all his children.
