BRIAN MESSENGER Obituary

Brian Scott Messenger, 46, born Feb. 1975 in Sedro-Woolley, WA, passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2021. Brian graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School.

He is survived by his wife, Christi, and his two daughters, Paige and Kennedy Messenger; his parents, Gerry and Delores Messenger, his brother Eric and his wife Jolene Messenger, his sisters Amy Messenger and Colette Millard and her husband, Justin and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Brian was a dedicated husband of 25 years and loving father to two beautiful daughters, who he called "his girls". Brian worked in the construction field for most of his life. He was known for his desire to help others and his dedication to doing right by people. His love for his God, Jehovah, was a dominant part of his life and was shown in the way he treated everyone.

He was well known for his big smile and contagious laugh. You were more than a friend to Brian, you were a brother or sister. He loved camping with family and close friends, watching the Seahawks in his Man Cave and grilling carne asada. He was always dreaming about his next tropical vacation.

A memorial service will be held via Zoom videoconference on June 5th at 2pm.

Brian and his brother and father worked on up-grading our house some years ago. We still have fond memories of all of them and especially of Brian and his easy-going manner and good design ideas. He was a bright spot in our lives. Sympathy to his family.

I felt a pure shoc when I've heard about Brian this morning, I knew him through the skagit design homes, where he worked , I've build my new home 2 years ago with lots of his help, but even all these times after this I could call him for advise anytime, cause Brian was a kind, smart, relible and wonderful human being, always ready to help, always with a good mood, always happy and always talking about his family. I am sending my deep condolences to his family and may God help them in these hard times. Rest in Peace Brian Messenger.
