Fredrick Roth Obituary

MOUNT VERNON - Fredrick Wayne Roth (AKA Bud) passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 59. Born April 21, 1966, Bud lived his life in Skagit County, Washington. Bud was independent, with an unmatched humor, and a deep loyalty to the people he cared about.

Bud is survived by his parents Mary M. Roth and Gene T. Roth, his brothers Daniel T. Roth, and Tony E. Roth, his sister in law Brittany M. Roth and Pamela Lynn Roth, his children Heather Roth, Kyle Roth, Mitchell Roth, Joey Roth, and Hailey Roth; his grandchildren: Kaydence, Kolton, Leon, Dean, Evan, Jack, Eleanor, Finley, Henry, James, Xavier, and Xander; nieces and nephews David, Justin, Abby, Tanner, Morgan, Garrett, and Wyatt; close friends: Jessie Barnes, and Jorden Watkins.

Bud graduated from Burlington High School; he spent most of his life as a plumber. Always giving of his time and talent to those in need. He was one in a million.

Bud lived a simple life and thoroughly enjoyed talking to people. He was always fun to be around, his quick humor and matter of fact attitude made people comfortable and enjoyed their time with him - seeking him out for more jokes and one-liners.

Bud fought a valiant fight with pancreatic cancer. He was determined to live and gave it all he could. Bud survived for 10 months from the time of diagnosis. Bud was dearly loved and will be terribly missed.

We want to gratefully thank Dr. Wang and his staff for their loving care of our boy.

In lieu of flowers, please send all donations to Skagit Regional Oncology in care of Dr. Wang. Online or Address: 307 S 13th St #100, Mount Vernon, WA 98274.

Bud requested no funeral but, we will have a celebration of life memorial later this summer (2025). Please text me if you would like to attend at 360-707-1314 or e-mail [email protected].

I met Bud when he did some work for me. He was polite, funny and knew his job. Then he suggested his son Kyle for work around my home. Strong work ethnics and family men. Strong family. So sorry for your loss.

Oh so many memories!! I remember when the Roth's moved in next door to my great aunt and uncle after the Grimbly's moved. So many memories all growing up in BayView and hours and hours of bus rides. So sorry for your loss and thinking of all of you through this difficult time.

I was a neighbor and good friend. Everyone in my family loved Bud. His caring vivacious personality will always be missed as the world doesn't have enough people like Bud and never will. I pray we'll meet again in a far better place and under the care of our Lord and Savior... Jesus
I also pray the Roth family can find comfort and peace in knowing he's
in a far better place. Lean on Jesus
