Oh, I'm so sorry I missed this notice. Lori was such a wonderful person and she cared for my cats so lovingly. She was such a beam of light and the world will miss her <3

Lori was such a positive & loving person. We shared many conversations about pets, politics, cooking & more. She was a true animal whisperer. I will miss my fellow Grateful Dead fan. May you be surrounded by all your past furry friends

Lori was so kind to my dogs! I sent many clients to her, and they were always pleased with how knowledgeable and caring she was. Lori, you will be missed.

I first got to know Lori when she worked at Fidalgo Animal Medical Center where I was a veterinarian. She loved working with animals and gave them her best care. She would often confide in me that she had found her love being around animals. That love included exotic animals as the photo below shows. That led to her establishing her own business "Happy at Home." This was her calling as she developed quite a clientele over the years. She could be depended on to take care of pets when needed and to give them the attention they needed. She will be missed in the community. I can still see her as she drives by and gives a big wave out the window as she passes me on the street.

Lori was my next door neighbor. We rowed together with OARSS and took our kayaks out in the bay. Lori took in a great stray Maine Coon who she named Turnup (since he turned up) and gave him to me as he couldn't acclimate to indoor life. We still have him. He is much loved as was Lori.
