Bobby Martin Obituary

Bobby Ray Martin, 61, of 1100 Vandola Church Rd, Danville, Va., died on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at his residence after being in declining health since March of 2016. Bobby was born in Danville on June 15, 1957, son of the late Earl Junius Martin Sr. and the late Edna Gail Creasey Martin. He lived all of his life in the Danville area where he was a contractor and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include, his wife of 39 years, Sandra Ruth Wilson; sons, Bobby Ray Martin Jr. and Jonathan Steven Martin all of the residence; and brothers, Dennis James Martin and Curtis Mann Martin (Regina) both of Danville. In addition to his parents, Bobby was predeceased by brothers, Earl Junius Martin Jr. and Tony Lynn Martin. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 28, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel. Interment will follow the service in the Martin Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel is respectfully serving the Martin family.
