Conrad Willock Obituary

Conrad Michael Willock, DDS LLM

Conrad Michael Willock, DDS LLM, 75, of Chapel Hill, N.C. and formerly of Chatham, Va., changed his address on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 to the eternal glory of Heaven.

Mike was born January 26, 1946, to the late James and Betty Willock, in Tigard, Oregon.

The beloved, holistic dentist practiced for 32 years in Chapel Hill, N.C. Mike had an enormous thirst for learning which lead him into law, dentistry and the Bible. He was a pilot, mountain climber, snow skier, jazz pianist, loved boating, and above all loved his family. Mike was a man of his word.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Gwen Easley Willock; son, M. Ryan Willock (Carrie); grandchildren, Elizabeth and Rachel Willock, Aaliyah and Kaden Collins; sister, Kimberly England (Bryan); niece, Sandra Easley; lifelong friend, Jennifer Lueders; and precious dog, Dixie Babe.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Highland Burial Park with the Reverend Doug Barber officiating.

Townes Funeral Home is serving the Willock family. Online condolences may be made at www.townesfuneralhome.com.

I was stunned to read of Dr. Willock's passing. He was cutting edge with dentistry and health concerns. Always worth my 90 drive for appointments. A loss indeed.
Bless you Gwen!

I am grateful for Dr Willock teaching me, an adult, how to prevent cavities as I worked as a baker.

I am so sad! I did not realize this had happened until I got the letter yesterday. I cannot tell you how many times Dr. Mike went way out of his way for me and my numerous dental emergencies. The most memorable for me was when my son was being operated on for cancer and I managed to break my tooth the night before. He met me at the office at some ridiculous hour to fix it so I could make it to the operation looking decent. I so much appreciate everything he's done for me. I'll miss him so much!

My sincere condolences. Mike was my classmate in dental school and because of our last names we were very close all though dental school. I have great respect for Mike. He did things in a way that amazed me. Gone too soon but never forgotten. Prayers to family for this great loss.
