COAL TOWNSHIP - Glenn E. Kreisher, 66, of 1201 E. Webster St., passed away peacefully Thursday, March 17, 2021, at his home.
He was born in Sunbury, Sept. 15, 1954, a son of Elizabeth E. (Reitz) Kreisher, of Shamokin, and the late Glenn E. Kreisher Sr., who passed away March 26, 1992.
Glenn was a graduate of Southern Columbia High School.
He was first married to Melinda Ann (Taylor) Kreisher. His second marriage was to Joann (Romanoski) Kreisher, both of whom preceded him in death.
A welder for 30 years, Glenn was retired. He had worked at the Cogeneration Power "Co-Gen" Plant, in Mount Carmel.
Glenn was a past fire chief at Overlook Fire Department.
Glenn is survived by his mother; two sons, William D. Kreisher, of Sunbury, and Robert G. Kreisher and his wife, Diana, of Newport News, Virginia; a brother, Chris E. Kreisher and his wife, Denise, of Elysburg; three grandchildren, Dennis, Tiffany and Jess; a companion, Barbara Hileman, of Johnstown; and his pup, Pebbles.
KREISHER - Glenn E. Kreisher, 66, of 1201 E. Webster St., Coal Township. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the James Kelley Funeral Home, 1001 W. Arch St. at Maple Street, Coal Township. COVID-19 guidelines will be followed during the visitation. There will not be a service or burial at this time. As an expression of sympathy, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Ralpho Township Fire Department, c/o Overlook Fire Co., 258 Overlook Blvd., Shamokin 17872.
