Massey Family, I am so sorry to hear about Gary. I would always see him in Food lion. I worked there for 16 years and I believe that there wasn't a day that went by that he didn't stop in. He always made a point to speak and of course he couldn't leave without telling us one of his jokes. I am really sadden to hear of his passing but just know there's a lot of laughing and celebrating going on in Heaven. Please know that the entire family are in my Prayers.

Literally, after 42 years, I remember Gary's friendly demeanor and respectful courtesy. He was friends with my older brother, but he didn't hesitate to be cordial toward "the little brother" or "the parents," whenever he came by. I have often thought of him over all these years, but I had no way to find him or initiate friendly contact. I am sad to hear that he is gone, but I will always remember the friendly young man who thought I was worth a little time and friendship, even though I was just a kid.
Peace and comfort to the family.
