Kenneth Saunders

Kenneth Wayne Saunders, 78, of 139 Brook Circle, Danville, departed this life on April 3, 2019. Kenneth was born in Danville, Va., on January 7, 1941, a son of the late Ivor Clinton Saunders and Ruby Martin Saunders. Kenneth worked for Cook Composites in Chatham and was a member of Sandy Shores Baptist Church. On July 29, 1963 he married, Amy Montgomery Saunders, who survives of the residence. Survivors also include a daughter, Robin S. Vaughan, and husband, Johnny; a son, Terry Wayne Saunders; two sisters, Bonnie S. Hardy and Anne S. Carter and husband, Wayne; three brothers, Owen Saunders, and wife, Betty, Cecil Saunders, and wife, Debra, and Benny Saunders, and wife, Cathy; and two granddaughters, Katelyn Saunders and Madelyn Saunders. Two children, Dale Wayne Saunders and Wendy Dawn Saunders; and a brother, Thomas Saunders, predeceased him. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel conducted by the Rev. Billy Scearce. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, April 5, 2019, from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home and at the residence at other times. Online condolences at www.wrenn-yeatts.com.
