Lee Franklin Montgomery
Mr. Lee Franklin Montgomery, 44, of 17541 Old Richmond Road, Keeling, Va. died Saturday June 18, 2011. Mr. Montgomery was born February 7, 1967 in Martinsville, Va. to the late Edgar Franklin Montgomery and the late Betty Prichard Montgomery. He was married to Kathryn "Kat" Lambeth Montgomery. Mr. Montgomery was of the Methodist faith. He was an avid race fan, loved 4 wheeling and fishing on the coast. Mr. Montgomery was the former owner and operator of Danville Bandag Inc. and Lees Alignment & brake service.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by one brother; Richard Cecil Walden: paternal Grandparents Grace and Edgar Montgomery: maternal grandparents Ruth and Cecil Prichard.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons; Taylor Richard Montgomery and Joseph Tristan Montgomery to which he was a loving father: one brother; L. Stuart Walden and wife LaVonne: mother-in-law Beth Lambeth; father-in-law Joe Lambeth, Sr.; a niece Lauren Kinsey Walden and many Loving friends.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Monday June 20, 2011 at Norris Funeral services, Mount Hermon Chapel, 3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, Va. with Rev. Roy Jones officiating.
The family will receive friends 12:30 to 1:30 pm, Monday June 20, 2011 at Norris Funeral Services, Mount Hermon Chapel and at other times 1216 Greenwood Dr. Danville, Va.
In lieu of flowers the family would like for memorial to be sent to Ronald McDonald House, 506 Alexander Ave., Durham, N.C. 27706 or Lake County SPCA, 7577 Business Hwy. 58. Clarksville Va. 23927.
