Lemuel Nash Obituary


DANVILLE, Va. - Lemuel Ault Nash, 85, of 781 Deercrest Lane, Danville, died Monday, Aug. 30, 2004 at Danville Regional Medical Center.

Born Nov. 14, 1918 in Danville, he was the son of the late Walter B. Nash and Lillie Simmons Nash.

He lived most of his life in the Brosville area of Pittsylvania County. He retired from Dan River Mills in 1948. He was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.

He was married to Arletta Marie Macon Nash, who died in December 1996.

He is survived by a son, Lemuel M. Nash of Brosville.

The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3 at Mountain View Cemetery.

The family will be at the residence, 781 Deercrest Lane.

Swicegood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
