Linda Bailey Bray

March 6, 1954 - January 19, 2022

Mrs. Linda Faye Bailey Bray, age 67, of Danville, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Stratford Rehabilitation Center in Danville.

Mrs. Bray was born on March 6, 1954, in Eden, North Carolina, to the late Willie Coleman Bailey and Mary Inez Pruitt Bailey. She lived most of her life in Danville where she worked at Dan River Mills for many years as a spinner before retirement and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Bray is survived by her son, John Lee Bray Jr.; brother, John Bailey; and sister, Karen Elizabeth Johns and her significant other, Clance Wooding. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bray was predeceased by her brothers, Lee Coleman Bailey and Robert Lee Bailey.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Danville Memorial Gardens with Reverend Donald Powell officiating.
