Lynn Bond Obituary

Lynn Nelson Bond, 76, of Richmond, passed Monday, December 10, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Betty Bond, of Roanoke. Lynn is survived by his wife, Scarlett; children, Rick, Ken (Stone) and JoD; stepchildren, Amanda Deep (Billy), Andrew (Che'Re); and daughter-in-law, Brandy; brother, Kit Bond (Tarry) then it gets fun with sixteen grandchildren, all of them knew him as granddad and most of them will forever remember the "Cooch"; five great-grandchildren; and Suzanne, the mother of his children. Lynn was educated beyond his intelligence at Jefferson Sr. High School in Roanoke. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and had the great luck to have found the tire business, where he spent 50 wonderful years. A friend of Bill W's for over 31 years. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, December 17, 2018, at Derbyshire Baptist Church, 8800 Derbyshire Rd., Henrico, VA 23229. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
