Mary Vance Obituary
Mary Frances Reynolds Vance Mary Frances Reynolds Vance, 78, of 128 Crestwood Dr., Danville, Va., died on Saturday, October 26, 2013, at her residence. She was born on August 10, 1935, in Washington County, Va., to the late Joseph Reynolds and Virginia Tignor Reynolds. Mrs. Vance was a homemaker, and she attended Arlington Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, James Vance of the residence; daughter, Violet Vance of Albany, New York; grandchildren, Charles Vance of the residence, Edward Travis Jr. of Danville, Va., and Amanda Hyson of Albany, N.Y.; one sister and seven brothers. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Vance was predeceased by her husband, LeRoy Vernon Vance; daughters, Juanita Travis and Shelby Vance; and one brother. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at Highland Burial Park with Pastor Kenneth Hayes and the Rev. William Bates officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the residence, 128 Crestwood Dr., Danville, Va. Swicegood Funeral Service is respectfully serving the Vance family.
