Mattie Mitchell Obituary
Mattie Robertson Mitchell, 86, of 910 Colquhon Street, Danville, Va., passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017, at 225 North Woodberry Avenue, Danville, Virginia. Born on September 10, 1931, in Caswell County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late William Henry Brandon and Vinnie Robertson. She was married to the late Wallace Mitchell Sr. She was the last of her generation. The family will receive friends at 225 North Woodberry Avenue, Danville, Virginia. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 3, 2017, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home with Pastor J. Richard Markham, eulogist. Interment will be held in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Online condolences may be submitted to: www.fisherandwatkinsfuneralhome.com Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Mitchell family.
