Mrs. Millard Ann Coleman Jones, 70, of 101 Pine Street, Chatham, Virginia, departed this life Saturday, October 30, 2021 in SOVAH Hospital in Danville, Virginia.
She was born April 7, 1951 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Ethel Rebecca Craft.
She was a member of Greater Triumph Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from Northside High School, class of 1969, and was retired from Pittsylvania County Sheriff Department.
Survivors include a son, Terrance Jones, of the residence; three grandchildren, Devin, Brenton and Briana Jones; a brother, Curtis (Sharon) Craft, of Chatham, Va.; and a sister, Darlene (Bishop Gary) Witcher, of Pittsville, Va.; two nephews, LaJuane Craft and Steven Witcher; three nieces, Alison Stone, Stephanie and Tiffany Craft; four great-nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home with the Rev. Langston Logan, Eulogist.
In accordance to CDC guidelines mask are required for all services.
Howerton Funeral Home is assisting the Jones family.

I can not begin to tell you how much Ms. Jones, as I would call her, meant to me. She was my very SPECIAL FRIEND. I admire everything about her. The one thing that I will always treasure is the fact that she never let me down. Family, my heart is with you as we pray to accept what GOD has allowed.
