Nelson and I were children together in Danville, of the same age, in the same classes during most of elementary school. I lived on Ross Street, he and his family on Holbrook. I remember him as a kind, fun loving person that I always enjoyed being around. My deepest sympathies to Calvin Jr. Thomasina, Freddie, and to his wife, children, and grands.
