Rebecca Bartee Rebecca Wilkinson Bartee, of 202 Alpine Dr. Danville, VA, died, Sunday, December 8, 2013, at Danville Regional Medical Center after a decline in health for the past several years. Born May 10, 1937, in Ringgold, VA, a daughter of the late John W. Wilkinson and Evelyn Tate Wilkinson. Mrs. Bartee was a bookkeeper for Motor Oils Inc. prior to retirement. She was a lifetime member of Kentuck Baptist Church, a member of the WMU and the JOY Sunday school class, a member of the choir, and the church financial secretary for 35 years. She was married to Clarence T. Bartee Jr. who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Terry Bartee Wright of Lynchburg VA; three grandchildren, Derek Wright, Angela W. Ayers and husband, Travis of Lynchburg, VA, and John Bartee of Bradenton, FL; three great grandchildren, Nicholas, Joshua, and Andrew Ayers, all of Lynchburg, VA; A predeceased son, David M. Bartee. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2013, from Kentuck Baptist Church, services will be conducted by the Rev. Allan Mahan.
