Bob married my wife Cindi and I at Memorial Drive Presbyterian church in 1977. He was a pivotal factor in our walk of faith and ushered us into a life of tithing and service to the church. He was also an encouragement to me in my decision to enter the pastoral ministry. I treasure the fact that our paths crossed. Cindi and I maintained contact with him until 2023. We will miss him greatly and offer our prayers, sympathy, and condolences to his dear wife Gail and his family.

Dear Gail,
I was deeply pained to learn of Bob's death...as I know you and many others were.
Although I haven't seen him in years, I still remember him as a dear friend and colleague. The "Silver Fox" made a huge difference in the lives of so many of us, and he will be missed.
I am grateful for his gifts as a colleague. I was not so grateful for the way he stomped me on the tennis court...but even then, he was gracious.
I send you my warmest regards, and I pray that you will join me in finding that your grief will soon give way to an overwhelming feeling of gratitude and thanksgiving for God placing this wonderful man in our lives!
Godspeed! Lee Carroll

My heart is very heavy at the passing of Paster Bob Ramey!!! He helped establish Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church as we separated from Quacker Memorial Presbyterian Church! He performed my marriage ceremony!! Bob was always deeply involved with all members of his congregation!! He helped restore my faith and trust in his friendship and the church!! There are not enough words to describe him and his capacity for love and kindness!! Peace be with his family and friends!! Pauline Deaton Goodman

Robbin, I send you sincere sympathy. What extraordinary man. I met your Dad on a couple of occasions at our mutual hairdresser. So kind and gentle. He will be sorely missed.
