Vickie Campbell Vickie Pruitt Campbell, 62, of 991 Mountain Hill Road, Ringgold, Va., went home to be with her Lord on July 1, 2013, after being in declining health for the past several months. Vickie was born in Danville, Va., on January 16, 1951, a daughter to the late Charlie W. Pruitt and Mary Ellen Dix Pruitt. She had lived her entire life in the Mountain Hill Community of Ringgold, Va. Vickie had worked with the former Dan River Inc. for a number of years as a technician in Quality Control. Vickie loved to go camping and to spend time with her family. On October 10, 1965, Vickie married Charles E. Campbell, who survives of the residence. She is also survived by three sons, Charles Leon Campbell, Carroll Wayne Campbell and wife, Carol, all of Ringgold, Va. and Donald Ray Campbell and wife, Tina, of Danville, Va.; five grandchildren, CW Campbell, Jacob Campbell, Nickiee Campbell, Tiffany Campbell and Josh Campbell. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at 2 p.m. from the Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel conducted by the Reverend Wayne Wallace. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the residence, 991 Mountain Hill Road, Ringgold, VA 24586. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Danville Cancer Association, 2323 Riverside Dr., Danville, VA 24540 or to Ringgold Fire & Rescue, P.O.
