Dan Oberle Obituary

Dan Oberle
Webster Groves, MO - Daniel Joseph "Papa O" Oberle, age 85, a resident of The Rockwood in Webster Groves, MO., died Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
Born June 30, 1939, in Geneseo, IL, to Harry Joseph Oberle and Mary Kerwin Oberle, he lived his early years in Geneseo, IL., and then moved to Edwardsville, IL, after marrying ex-wife Karen Rose Erlanger.
Surviving family is his son, Kyle Oberle from Rock Hill, MO., daughter-n-law, Rebecca Oberle and 2 grandchildren, Davis and Piper Oberle.
Dan was passionate about his family, friends, Route 66, and his St. Louis Cardinals. He worked hard to support Route 66 historical preservation and loved the Catholic faith dearly. Daniel loved to reminisce about memories he held close to his heart. Words that come to mind when thinking of my dad are, sentimental and a huge heart!
Services will be held on September 7, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Holy Angels Parish in Wood River, Illinois.

The Oberle Family:

I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Oberle, he was my counselor when I was in high school. He was a very nice person. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.
