I met Danny at siue through his dad. I met his mom and brothers. Very nice family. I used to always try and keep in contact over the past ten years since I graduated college and moved to Chicago. I came down in 2010 and Danny was working at a restaurant and we ate there and he was nice. He will continue be in my thoughts

My deepest condolences to the Eng family through this trying time. Dan was one of the kindest, most talented and gentle souls I've ever encountered and had the pleasure of calling a friend. We played in our very first serious band together (NEXT 2 LAST) recorded music and played a ton of shows. Some were AWESOME and some were DISASTERS. We always made the best of it whether we drove to Pittsburgh to play to just the other bands on the bill or to Queens in front of a couple hundred people. Dan was a big part of making those trips and shows worthwhile with his hi-jinx and crazy sense of humor. I'll cherish the memories and will always have the music we made together. I'm not very religious but I am sending positive vibes your way. I hope you are all well considering this tragedy. Love ya Dan "Chigga" Eng rest in peace my friend.
