To the Clow family, your father was one of a kind. I first met him when I worked nights at Montclaire Bowl. He and Jim Scates would entertain me after they got off work at the mill. He was affectionately known as Father Fred to the bar patrons at Montclaire. He got this nickname from his habit of sitting at the bar with his chin resting on his folded hands, as if he were praying for us. Rest in peace my friend.
