Jamie Hicks Obituary
Jamie Loren Hicks, age 28, of South Roxana, died at 5:38 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at his residence.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Irwin Chapel in Granite City.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, Jan. 17, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Eddie Linhart officiating.
Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.
Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial fund that will be established by the family.
Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road, Granite City is in charge of arrangements.

Kenny and all of the Hicks family. First of all we want you to know it was such a terrible thing that happened to Jamie. He was a wonderful person, son, father, and brother. Jamie was a great guy. We are happy to have had the pleasure of knowing him and watching him grow up. Our prayers are with all the family - parents, sisters, children, grandparents,as well as the aunts, uncles,cousins and many friends whose lives were touched by Jamie.

To Kenny Cora and the rest of the family. Family members come and go but some leave a lasting memorie. Jamie was one that left that lasting memorie. I am proud to have had him as part of this family. When we lose a loved one they are never truly gone, because they will live forever in all our hearts. Jamie may be gone but he will never be forgotten. This is the hardest thing life can bring we all lost a brother who could comand a room with his smile and charm always shall you be missed and loved from our whole family . and I am just happy for the times me and Jamie had and heartbroken for the times well miss and that were missed .

I am so sorry for your loss. Jamie was a great guy. I worked with him for a year and was proud to call him my friend. We enjoyed talking about the Cardinals and other sports. I'm so sorry he's left us at such an early age. He'll be greatly missed.
